Spruce Lake Retreat
Spruce Lake Facilities

Spruce Lake’s lodging facilities are grouped into four clusters: (1) Retreat Center; (2) Family Campground; (3) Mountainside Lodges and (4) Wilderness Camp.

The Retreat Center area is the largest of the four groupings, and is also the hub for most amenities, including dining and recreation options.

Our Family Campground provides an inexpensive way for families to get away together. About half of the 64 campsites are available by the night; the others are rented by the season. (Special rules and fees apply for seasonal campers. Ask our office staff for more details.) The camping area is under the trees along the edge of the Retreat Center lodging cluster.

Mountainside Lodges are located along Sky High Lane and Miller Rd just 1/2 mile from the Retreat Center along Rt. 447. Each of these four self-contained lodges can stand alone for small groups, family or leadership gatherings, or they can be combined to accommodate even larger groups.

The Wilderness Camp cluster is located one mile by the gravel road from the Retreat Center in the “heart of the woods.” This area, which is home for our summer youth camp, is ideal for youth, young adult or family groups the rest of the year.
