1. Complete the summer staff application.  Feel free to apply anytime. Most of our hires happen between the months of January and April.
2. Once complete mail them to either Eric Horst at Spruce Lake Retreat, 5389 Route 447, Canadensis, PA, 18325. Or mail to Eric Kauffman, Spruce Lake Wilderness Camp, 5389 Route 447, Canadensis, PA, 18325.
3. Contact those whom you would like to be your references (see criteria on the application), and ask permission to use them as references.  Send this form to four different references.
4. Print the reference form and provide it to your references along with a Spruce Lake self-addressed envelope and a first class postage stamp.
5. Then wait! It can take 2-4 weeks for references to be returned and all the materials to be reviewed. 
6. Within 3-4 weeks we will contact you to either set up an interview or to decline the application.  If you do not hear from us within 3-4 weeks, please contact us again to see at what point the process is.  That’s it; we can’t wait to hear from you!
