Summer Wilderness Expeditions

Our Wilderness Expeditions program offers fulfilling outdoor adventures with trained trip guides. Immersed in nature, you’ll experience awe-inspiring sights and the thrill of mastering a challenge! Most of all, there are daily opportunities for growing your relationship with God through supportive leaders who listen and care, group devotions, and structured solo time with God.

Voyagers 1 June 15-20, 2025

  • Daily – Adventures like hiking, mountain biking and canoeing
  • Evenings – Spruce Lake Rec Hour, late-night activities & Fireside
  • Overnights –  Spruce Lake’s platform tents

 

Take your camp experience to the next level as you voyage outside the Wilderness Camp world each day for activities like mountain biking , hiking and canoeing. Each night, you’ll be back at Camp for classics like Fireside and camp-wide games on the big field. With capable, fun guides at your side, you will find yourself growing and trying new skills. Nights will be spent in Spruce Lake’s traditional platform tents.

Voyagers 2 July 6-11, 2025

Voyagers 2 ups the challenge and makes your daily adventures more epic! Keep growing your mountain biking skills, discover new hiking trails, and try your hand at mild whitewater canoeing. Each night, you’ll be back at Camp for classics like Fireside and camp-wide games on the big field. With capable, fun guides at your side, you will find yourself growing and trying new skills. Nights will be spent in Spruce Lake’s traditional platform tents.

Voyagers Details

Outpost June 22-27, 2025

  • Daily – Outdoor fun and skill-building on and around Spruce Mountain
  • Overnights – platform tents

 

Find your home among the trees as your Outpost group camps out, away from the sounds of traditional camp. Swim time and activities will blend into the daily flow of exploration, fellowship, worship, rest, and loads of fun! Around your campsite – just off the beaten path up Spruce Mountain – you will enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, and meals cooked over the fire. Counselors will facilitate devotionals and quiet times, and help you notice where God is moving every day.

Outpost Details

Delaware Canoe July 13-18, 2025

  • Daily – Canoe the open river and Class I & II rapids to reach each night’s campsite
  • Overnights – Relax at campsite, sleep in hammocks or tents

 

Experience the thrill of the open river! Guide your canoe through the Delaware River’s class I and II rapids with our experienced guides. You’ll be immersed in nature as you watch the scenery from your canoe, have quiet times along the shoreline, eat meals cooked over the fire, and fall asleep to the night sounds in tents or hammocks. No special equipment needed.

Delaware Canoe Details

Adirondack Canoe July 27-August 1, 2025

  • Daily – Canoe the connecting rivers and lakes to reach each night’s campsite
  • Overnights – Relax at campsite, sleep in hammocks or tents

 

If you love canoeing and are itching for a new trip, this is for you! Explore the rugged, versatile landscape of the Adirondacks with our experienced guides. Paddle through lake and rivers seeing new scenery, have quiet times along the shoreline, eat meals cooked over the fire, and fall asleep to the night sounds in your tent or hammock. No special equipment needed.
