At Spruce Lake, we offer dining meal plans for our events and guest groups. Meals are served in our Spruce Lodge dining facility, which can seat 320 people.
Our dining room serves delicious meals buffet-style 3 times a day:
Depending on the number of guests we are serving, we may ask your group to come 15 minutes or 30 minutes later to help minimize wait times, and to have adequate seating available in the dining room. (Your specific meal time is assigned about a week prior to arrival.)
It is important that each group arrive at the designated time provided so we can better serve you and all of our other guests. The buffet line closes approximately 30 minutes after your designated time.
If you report allergies or other dietary needs to your group coordinator in advance, we will do our best to accommodate those needs.
For persons giving us advance notice, your group coordinator will provide dietary cards to the group leader at check-in. Show the card to the host or food service staff when you go through the buffet line. They will show you the items suitable for you and provide a substitute entree when necessary.
If dietary needs are extensive, we suggest reserving one of the kitchenette suites, such as Oak or Acorn Loft, so the person/s can prepare their own food.
If you are a group staying at our Wilderness Camp area or Mountainside Lodges, you are welcome to join us for one or more meals in the main dining room. These must be scheduled at least 3 weeks in advance. Enjoy the short walk or drive to and from your lodging.
Groups that reserve Huckleberry or the Pavilion at Wilderness Camp, or any of the Mountainside Lodges, may use those fully equipped kitchens to prepare meals. Generally, each kitchen is equipped to serve the occupancy of the building.
Hearthstone Lodge may be combined with other lodging to serve meals for a maximum of 50 people.
The Wilderness Camp Pavilion can accommodate groups of up to 100 people.
