Lakeview Nature Center is your starting point for discovering and exploring God’s incredible creation! The Nature Center is adjacent to Spruce Lodge on the lower level of Lakeview Program Center. Here you can learn more about hiking our trails, “meet and greet” our resident reptiles, or book a class for a guided, more in-depth nature experience.

Take a Walk or Hike
God has entrusted us with a priceless treasure! We are situated at the headwaters of the Brodhead Watershed, which springs from the top of Spruce Mountain and flows south to the Delaware River that forms the border between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. From the vista on Spruce Mountain Trail, you can see the “V” on the horizon where this River cuts through the hills.
We invite you to walk or hike on any of our seven paths or trails, and see the beauty of God’s creation across our 900+ acres. Varying in length and terrain, there is a trail for practically everyone.
Explore the Nature Center
Come to our interactive Nature Center where you can meet our resident reptiles, marvel at the mounts of North American and local native mammals, or follow your curiosity around the room, from touch screens to exhibits.
