Full-Time Positions

Retreat Center Program Manager, FT, year-round

The Program Manager is to oversee the continued development and leadership of all Retreat Center program functions. The position shall be responsible for developing, promoting, and leading retreats & events hosted/executed by Spruce Lake and services that embrace our core values and enable us to accomplish our mission and vision.

This includes establishing program goals and objectives, defining participants, schedule development, selection of speakers and worship leaders, planning and resourcing activities, recruiting and training staff and volunteers, care and maintenance of program equipment and program evaluation. In addition, a working knowledge of audio-visual requirements in a conference setting is required.

This is a high energy, physically demanding position requiring extended summer and weekend hours. Previous programming experience in camp retreat/conference setting with a general understanding of camp retreat center operations preferred.

 

Operations Assistant, FT, year-round

Spruce Lake is currently seeking a full-time Operations Assistant to join our Custodial and Guest Group Hosting Teams. Custodial duties require a hardworking individual who can maintain a flexible schedule. This is a high energy, physically demanding position requiring extended summer and weekend hours. In addition, once per month rotational on call hosting responsibilities will require an outgoing, relational mindset to coordinate, problem solve and directly contribute to a quality experience for our guests. This includes but is not limited to greeting all group leaders, coordinating with Front Desk regarding guest needs, responding to after-hours calls and locking designated facilities. An On-Call Host is the general resource for all Retreat Center needs for one weekend per month.

Part-Time Positions

Food Service: Dishwashers & Dining Room Host / PT, year-round

If you’re looking for part-time, year-round work with flexible hours and/or rotating shifts, one of these open positions could be for you. Dishwashers and the Dining Room Host at Spruce Lake serve in a Christian ministry environment and interact with guests and staff with courtesy, helpfulness and attention to detail. The Host role includes being a “first responder” to guests’ needs and monitoring the food service line at meals.

 

Housekeeping Dept: Housekeeper / PT, year-round

We currently have openings from 10-29 hours per week in housekeeping and laundry services, based upon your availability. Bring your skills to the team and demonstrate your attention to detail, personal integrity, and a positive attitude.
