Accounting Clerk
Part-time/Seasonal (late May-August)/Hourly (Finance Team):
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for data entry and support work, including but not limited to posting daily receipts, preparing bank deposits, processing departmental currency change requests, and posting vendor invoices.

This person must:

Maintenance Technician
Full-time/Hourly (Facilities Team):
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance, renovation, construction or replacement of facilities and grounds. Tasks assigned to maintenance personnel are based on the individual’s skills and the needs of the facility.

This person must:

Youth Ministry Assistant
Part-time/Hourly (Wilderness Camp):
The Youth Ministry Office Assistant is responsible for office and clerical functions in the day-to-day operation of Day Camp and Wilderness Camp, including registration processes, mailings, emails, routine and non-routine responsibilities.

This person must:
– Have a Christian commitment that exemplifies camp goals and is in line with the statement of faith.
– Conduct oneself in a manner of behavior that is above reproach, realizing that the greatest potential for ministry in camping is achieved through the witness of the Christ-like lives of team members.
– Be spiritually mature enough to take initiative in using the resources available to grow and to encourage others to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
– Be emotionally and socially mature enough to relate to and cooperate with others in the camp community.
– Learn and uphold all camp policies and guidelines as outlined in the team manual and other appropriate area manuals.
– Possess the integrity to faithfully fulfill the commitment of service agreed upon in a positive manner.
– Be flexible in assisting in other areas as needed.

Guest Group Coordinator
Full-time/Hourly (Guest Services):
The Guest Group Coordinator is responsible for communicating with individual guests, seasonal campers, and guest group leaders to secure, document, and disseminate required information to directors and/or their designee. As a member of the guest services team, the Guest Group Coordinator is responsible for providing front desk services, showing Christian hospitality, and focusing on the guest experience while actively promoting the value of a retreat experience.

This person must:
– Live out a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
– Affirm Spruce Lake’s mission, vision, statement of faith, and core values
– Conduct oneself in a manner that is above reproach
– Be responsible, industrious, hospitable and enthusiastic
– Be available for rotating evening, weekend and holiday schedules

Environmental Services Technician
Full-time & Part-time/Hourly (Operations):
The Operations Technician is responsible for ensuring a positive, clean and safe guest and employee experience through diligent custodial services of recreational facilities, common areas, meeting rooms including audio-visual equipment, supplies and equipment. This person must:
– Affirm Spruce Lake’s mission, vision and core values
– Have a teachable spirit, servant heart, and a team-player attitude
– Be responsible, industrious, hospitable and enthusiastic
– Have effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
– Have experience with audio-visual equipment (preferred)
– Be physically fit, able to stand and walk for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, perform repetitive motions with arms, wrists, and shoulders, and to bend, kneel and stretch.

Environmental Services Housekeeper
Full-Time & Part-time/Hourly and/or Piece Rate (Operations):
The Environmental Services (EVS) Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring a positive, clean and safe guest experience. The EVS Housekeeper performs timely and quality guest room turn processes, based on occupancy needs. This person must:

– Have a teachable spirit, servant heart, and a team-player attitude
– Be responsible, industrious, hospitable and enthusiastic
– Have effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
– Be physically fit, able to stand and walk for long periods of time, lift 35 lbs., perform repetitive motions with arms, wrists, and shoulders, and to bend, kneel and stretch.
