For many people, summer camp is a foundational childhood experience. Our campers eagerly anticipate returning to camp year after year because of the profound ability of camp to change a young person’s life. Our communities are fill of believers who came to know Christ through powerful camp experiences.
At Spruce Lake, we believe in the power of camp to change lives. Daily, we see God working in our campers’ hearts, and our desire is for every child to experience a week of camp. Our passion for pointing children and youth toward Christ allows us to offer the Spruce Lake Summer Camp experience as unusually low rates in order to accomplish that goal.
Here’s how:
(1) An incredible donor base willingly digs deep to support the ministry of Spruce Lake!
(2) Annual golf tournament has been raising funds for summer “Wilderness Camp” since 1975.
(3) Every child who wants to attend camp can do so through our Campership Fund.
If you paid the “break even rate” for your child’s week of camp, it would cost approximately $800 per child.
The “real” cost of camp is more than double the amount you’ll actually pay.
