Gifts from many friends, alumni, families and businesses support Spruce Lake Ministries (Spruce Lake and Pinebrook). Each donor and volunteer is a vital partner in pointing people toward Christ! Each contribution of time and funds supports youth camps, guest groups, programmed retreats for adults and families, and experiences that introduce people to the wonders of God’s creation.

Spruce Lake is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, owned by Franconia Mennonite Camp Association, Inc. All donations are tax-deductible according to IRS regulations.

Ways You Can Support Spruce Lake

Final Phase:
Watch our new Youth Campus grow!

Spruce Lake Ministries has been built upon an amazing foundation! For over 60 years we have watched God work through our history of visionary leaders, volunteers, staff and board members—and none of this would be possible without YOU, our valued guests and donors.

Now we have moved into The Final Phase of the youth campus project. Sixteen new cabins will allow lodging for year-round youth ministry programming which always was—and still is—at the heart of Spruce Lake. Work began September 18, 2023, starting first in the former girls’ tenting area, then proceeding to the area across from the Barn.

Thank you for your generous contributions that met the $500,000 challenge match by December 31, 2023! We are well on the way toward funding this project with NO debt.

We invite skilled individuals to volunteer with construction to reduce the cost.
During March & April, 2024, we’re looking for painters, carpenters, and carpet tilers.
** To volunteer, please email us at cabinvolunteer@sprucelake.org.

We welcome your ongoing support of the Youth Campus!

When you become a Sparks Partner, your consistent small gift each month will make a big difference over time. You will be helping us carry the ministry so we can point more people toward Christ through Adult & Family Ministries, Wilderness Camps & Trips, Day Camp at Spruce Lake and Pinebrook, Outdoor Education, plus ministry among guest groups at both locations.

Consider $10, $25, $50 or even more as God leads, then make your monthly commitment online.

Sponsor a Camper

Spruce Lake is committed to making sure that every camper who wants to attend summer camp will be able to do so, regardless of financial need. Each year we provide “Camperships” to approximately 10 percent of our campers to fulfill this promise. You can help by contributing to bring one or more children to camp.
